1. There is a sudden stop, and the screw shaft is stuck. This is because the virgin press of the new machine does not pass a large amount of material into the press, and the thickness of the cake is too thin, and the pressure of the press chamber increases. When encountering this situation, first read the operation manual, and operate according to its instructions, and also pay attention to frequently check the sound of the machine and the magnitude of the current intensity.
2. The oil yield of the oil press is too low. This failure occurs because:
(1), the oil moisture is not suitable;
(2) The temperature of the pressing chamber is low;
(3) The gap between the strip and round row does not meet the requirements;
(4), parts wear. In this case, of course, first follow the instructions in the operation manual, and then loosen or tighten the compression nut to make a small amount of slag and smooth oil flow.
3. Oil is stored in the hopper of the oil press. The reasons for this failure are:
(1) The round bars are too tight;
(2) The oil contains too much oil, and the cake is too thin. In this case, firstly, loosen the compression nut to make the oil flow smoothly, then adjust the thickness of the cake, and add the cake into the pressing chamber to flush out the oil.
4. The pressed cake has oil spots. This is because the oil is too much water in the oil, the gap between the round rows is too small, and the parts are worn. In this case, in addition to the manual operation, it is also necessary to loosen the compression nut to increase the clearance of the round row, and replace the new parts in time.
5. The extracted oil is dark brown and thick. This is because the temperature of the pressing chamber is low, there are too many impurities in the oil during the oil extraction, or the oil used is too dry or moldy. When this happens, pay attention to screening the oil.
6. The output of oil is low. This is because:
(1) The cottonseed that has not been delinted is pressed, and the pile length is easy to bridge and wrap around the shaft;
(2), the pressing chamber, the pressing screw is not smooth;
(3) The oil has too much water content;
(4) The gap between the cake outlet is too small;
(5), the pressing screw is worn.
