Malfunctions and troubleshooting methods of oil press

The oil press is very common to many families, and it is inevitable that some problems will be encountered in the process of using the oil press. If there are people around you who know the machine, you are very lucky. But if no one around knows about the machine, then we can only send it to the store for repair, which will only increase time consumption. So today I will take you to understand the faults and troubleshooting methods of the oil press.

The screw shaft suddenly stops rotating

Q:  Feed a large amount of materials in the press chamber without grinding heat;

A: feed a small amount slowly, and gradually increase the feeding speed after the cake is discharged.

Q: The cake is too dry when the newly purchased machine is running;

A:please refer to "New machine running-in and preheating" in the manual for operation.

Q: The filter cake is adjusted too thin and the pressure in the pressing chamber is too high;

A: refer to the instruction manual to increase the thickness of the cake appropriately. When the new machine is running, the minimum cake thickness shall not be less than 2mm. The minimum filter cake thickness during normal oil extraction is about 1 mm.

Q: Hard objects fall into the press chamber;

A: turn off the power, disassemble the upper press cage, loosen the round row, pull out the pressing screw shaft, and clean the press chamber.

No feed, no oil

Q: Mix the oil in the press chamber with the oil;

A: add a small amount of cake and squeeze at the same time. When re-feeding, feed slowly.

Q: The oil drain groove of the strip and ring is blocked, and the oil drain is not smooth;

A: remove the strip, soak the circle with hot water, and then clean it with a wire brush.

Q: The oil content of the squeezed oil is too high, and the original oil discharge channel is too small or too shallow;

A: replace the corresponding row and round row in time.

Q: When using the hot (cooked) squeezing method, the water content of the squeezed oil is too low;

A: ensure that the oil has an appropriate squeezed water content.

Q: The oil is too wet (especially cottonseed);

A: reduce the moisture content of the oil, the cottonseed should be lint-free.

The oil is stored in the hopper, and the oil flows at the insert plate of the hopper seat

Q: The light bar is reversed;

A: install the strips correctly so that there is an oil drain gap between every two strips, and the same is true for the round strips

Q: The strip and round oil grooves are shallow or blocked, and the oil is not smooth;

A: discharge the deep circle of the oil groove in front of the thick round row, that is, one end of the row, you can choose the deeper oil groove.

Damaged rack

Q: When the screw is stuck, push the screw in the opposite direction;

A: it is strictly forbidden to drive the screw in the opposite direction.

Q: When the screw rod is stuck, manually force the big pulley to reverse;

A: forbid multiple people to twist the big pulley forcibly.
